It’s crazy how easily you forget what you have in your closet when you’ve been away for 6 months. I bought these culottes during the winter from Forever 21 for a ridiculously low price. 
I like culottes because they can easily be dressed up or down. Today, I was just running errands so I paired them with wrapped espadrilles but on a night out, I could easily slip on black heels and be ready to go. I also think there’s some time of “professional” feel about them and they’d be great for work or an interview. 
My whole outfit including my satchel is from Forever 21. My shoes are from a French store called Etam.
