Matching Crop Tops & Bottoms

Here’s another great trend for spring and summer. Have you ever thought of wearing identical top and bottoms? A common fashion tip is to never wear an outfit with all the same hues. However, incorporating crop tops and high waisted skirts/shorts changes that rule. Crop tops are not going anywhere this summer so why not incorporate this new trend into your style. Pair your crop top with a matching high waisted skirt so that there is a sliver of skin showing. This outfit gives an illusion that you’re wearing a dress but instead you’re rocking a new style and can wear the top and bottoms separately whenever you want. It’s like two outfits in one! If you’re not that girly and then wear matching shorts instead. I’ve also seen this trend with regular tops but I don’t enjoy the look as much. Check it out below. These matching top and bottoms usually come in print designs. I haven’t not seen matching top and bottoms in stores yet so I’m not sure if they will placed together on a hanger or table. That would make shopping so much easier but you might have to do some searching! I have seen this trend online with stores such as Forever 21, Asos, and Necessary Clothing.

This trend is easy for formal or
casual wear. Add a pair of high heels for a night out or sandals for an everyday look. I’ll be rocking this trend as soon as I get a hold of matching top and bottoms!
